Life has been difficult for the over 100 year and 340 strong community of Beikanateng. They now enjoy the necessity of life in having safe water for the first time. No more suffering of walking a long distance, no more lateness from school, no more waking up early to look for water, no more thirst and no more water borne diseases. The water yield from the new borehole is up to 90L/min which is very sustainable and a sign of a good water table.

Barbomoh Sorwour, a 38 year old woman won’t struggle again to look for water in other areas. She can comfortably go to farm without worrying where to drink water. Together with her neighbors Biporo Lawah and Nayor Faatey, they feel relieved and delighted of the borehole in their community. They all believed that with the borehole, things will develop in their community.

Donkor-Dar Yirweh, a Primary 4 pupil at Kangba Basic School said she no longer wakes up very early in the morning to look for water. Like two of her neighbors, Engkonna Annu and Arazie Mgmenkah both 14 years and are in Junior High School, also voiced out that they no longer search for water in far areas as they can use their time studying instead and thanked the donors for providing the borehole and asked God to grant them the strength to continue the good work.
